As the calendar flips to July, the OTT landscape is buzzing with a rich mix of sequels, regional gems, and nostalgic reboots. Whether you’re in the mood for a horror classic reimagined or a multiverse-sized blockbuster, the streaming menus are getting seriously stacked.
New Releases & Big Names
Leading the pack this week is Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, arriving on HBO Max on July 3. After the filmmaker’s stellar turn on Evil Dead Rise, all eyes are on how he resurrects the Universal monster. For fashion fans, the long-awaited The Devil Wears Prada 2 dropped on JioHotstar on June 29—expect Andy Sachs to have a few new tricks up her sleeve.
James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video (June 24) in a staggering seven languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. That same platform also landed the quirky animated mystery The Sheep Detectives, complete with a Dolby Cinema 2D option. On Netflix, the Hindi historical epic Raja Shivaji and the pan-India action title Blast both debuted on June 26.
There’s also strong regional play: Mollywood Times hits Jio Hotstar on July 3, while Malayalam actioner Revolver Rinko arrives on Sun_NXT. Telugu audiences can catch Dooradarshini on Prime Video and the rom-com Kotha Kothaga on Disney+ Hotstar.
